Injecting drug users most vulnerable to HIV/AIDS

According to the latest report by the National Aids Control Organisation (NACO), while HIV prevalence in India among the general population stands at 0.40 per cent, HIV prevalence among people who inject drugs is as high as 7.17 per cent.

Alliance India builds capacity, provides technical support and advocates to strengthen the delivery of effective, innovative, community-based HIV programmes to vulnerable populations affected by the HIV epidemic.
