Focused Prevention in Andhra Pradesh

This brochure highlights the work of the India HIV/AIDS Alliance and its lead partners from programmes initiated in Andhra Pradesh.The Alliance initiated two focused prevention programmes – the Frontier Prevention Programme (FPP) and Avahan (India AIDS Initiative) – in Andhra Pradesh with support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Alliance India builds capacity, provides technical support and advocates to strengthen the delivery of effective, innovative, community-based HIV programmes to vulnerable populations affected by the HIV epidemic.
