Experiences in Implementation of Home and Community-Based Care and Support Programme with a focus on Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu

The International HIV/AIDS Alliance conducted a study tour for the care and support team of the Alliance in Myanmar in March 2008 to visit Alliance India’s care and support intervention sites in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. This report is based on the documentation of this learning exchange, carrying forward the Alliance’s knowledge-sharing strategy.

Alliance India builds capacity, provides technical support and advocates to strengthen the delivery of effective, innovative, community-based HIV programmes to vulnerable populations affected by the HIV epidemic.
