Ms Mona Mishra

Ms Mona Mishra is a social policy expert with over 25 years of experience working across South, South-East Asia and Africa. She has held senior positions with the United Nations and continues to advise UNDP and other UN agencies on strategic planning, with a focus on gender, sexual and reproductive health, inequality, and human development.
Trained in Economics and documentary filmmaking, Mona is a long-standing student of the political economy of marginalisation in India. She works closely with grassroots organisations led by marginalised communities, bringing together policy, research, and lived realities to inform inclusive development approaches.
