Fazlur Rahman Gulfam

A trained social worker professional with more than a decade of development experience in India and Asia region, Gulfam carries with him extensive program implementation, monitoring & evaluation and social research expertise. He has worked with the government of India, corporate and national and international development organizations on issues of sexual and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, mental health and rights of marginalized communities among others. In addition to his program development, implementation and M&E experiences, Gulfam has led several research on the themes of gender as a social determinant of health, gender justice & laws and human rights violations. After joining, Alliance India he has been instrumental in developing research profile of the organization where he leads implementation of research studies and publications for strategic advocacy and engagement with several stakeholders. He also manages M&E for several programs within our Sexuality, Gender and Rights domain. Gulfam holds a master’s degree in Social Work from Jamia Millia Islamia University with a specialization a Social Welfare Management.
